Annual High Point Awards from the Australian Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) are presented as year-round achievements recognising top-performing registered horses and financial members who accumilate the highest number of competitive points across classes and events.
How the Awards Work
Points Accumulation: Points are gathered from financial members competing on registered horses at events held over the designated show year. These events can be held by an AQHA Approved Performance Body or be an AQHA Affiliated Events.
Divisions: Categories are split into Open, Amateur, Select Amateur, and Youth divisions across specific disciplines such as Campdraft, Stockman’s Challenge, Cutting, Working Cow Horse, Team Penning, Sporting, Arena Sorting, Dressage, Endurance, Eventing, Hack, Ranch Riding, Reining, Halter, Pony Club, Barrel Racing AND MORE!!
NOTE: Points from Approved AQHA Shows & NCHA Australia Events will be automatically recorded once the AQHA receive the results from the Affiliate/Club running that Approved show.
Recognition: Honorees include top horses, top riders, and individual state high point winners who receive official acknowledgment and trophies.
